“Kennedy Construction Group” was the original name chosen by Gene Kennedy over 40 years ago for his then new construction and roofing company. Over the years, the name was shortened by abbreviating Kennedy Construction Group to “Kennedy” and focusing on roofing as our core area of expertise. While our brand name was shorter (our goal!), we discovered that our three letterinitials can often get misremembered. So we started to consider different options for a more memorable name and to continue to highlight our expertise in all things roofing. After evaluating different names, we decided that simple is best! Kennedy Roofing!
The name change is the only change. We are still a family business, serve the greater Tampa area and are locally owned. And, importantly, our customers are still our number one priority, we continue to back our Owens Corning roofs with a 50-Year Platinum Warranty, we still provide an in-house leak guarantee, and much, much more! So, while we cover your home with a beautiful roof, most importantly, we will still cover you!
